About ME

Hi! I'm Allison, the owner of Simply Fetching Weddings, and the cutie in the photo is my pup and professional fetcher: Clyde. He is also the inspiration for our logo! I'm originally from New Jersey, but after graduating college I found my FURever home here in the Pacific Northwest. 

Animals have always been my greatest love and since high school I have been a dog walker and volunteer at animal shelters and rescues in my hometown.

I currently work as a professional handler and animal care technician at a dog daycare and boarding facility. That means I get to hang out with hundreds of dogs of all shapes and sizes every week! They have become my best fur friends and it is an absolute joy to be able to care for and interact with them. 

After three wonderful years as lead handler with another local wedding day pet care company, the owner encouraged me to take the leash into my own hands and start Simply Fetching Weddings as her company expands to the east coast. I'm super excited for the upcoming wedding season and to continue working with all of the vendors at the beautiful venues throughout Oregon & southern Washington.

I am looking forward to meeting all your furry friends and finding the the pawfect way to make them part of your event.
